Proving Shock Thickness Decreases for Increasing Mach Number

Authors: John R. Cipolla

Contrary to common belief, shock thickness in supersonic and hypersonic flow is not an unchanging function of Mach number and not simply an infinitely thin discontinuity in the flow field. This discussion proves that shock wave thickness decreases significantly as Mach number increases and is not an absolute and unchanging discontinuity in external and internal flows. To prove that shock thickness decreases significantly with Mach number the specific case of a normal shock wave in the diverging section of a converging-diverging nozzle is considered. This analysis reveals that shock wave thickness becomes significantly smaller as Mach number is increased. Therefore, a shock wave has a finite but very small thickness, dx caused by the "packing" of molecules during the compression process as the shock wave moves through an undisturbed fluid. In addition, fluid density in the region of the shock wave tries to distribute itself evenly during the passage of the shock wave into undisturbed fluid. In this discussion shock thickness is determined as a function of Mach number and fluid viscosity.

Correction to Maxwell's Equations

Authors: Eric Su
Comments: 5 Pages. Note that the author does not read Disqus comments here, please respond by email. Including a list of publications is also a healthy gesture..

Maxwell's equations are examined specifically with a segment of electric current under Biot-Savart law and a single charge under Gauss' law. The line integral of the magnetic field is verified to be different from the surface integral of the curl of magnetic field because the magnetic field of Biot-Savart law diverges. Faraday's induction law is examined by inserting a capacitor into the coil loop to measure the voltage. The electric field inside the capacitor is directly proportional to the time derivative of magnetic flux. An optional capacitor is also attached to the end of the straight segment of electric wire. The time derivative of the electric field inside the capacitor is verified to be proportional to the line integral of the magnetic field from the electric current. Multiple corrections are made to Maxwell's equations.

Mechanika Czasu

Authors: Andrzej Zwolski
Comments: 6 Pages. In Polish. Key words: czas, teoria czasu, mechanika czasu

The Physical Nature of Black Holes and Dark Matter

Authors: Guido F. Nelissen

In the 1930’s and the 1970’s astronomers discovered that the outer regions of spiral galaxy clusters moved much faster than their combined mass could explain. This led to the supposition that there must be a huge amount of some invisible/dark mass/matter, that amounts up to 85% of all matter in the universe! After more than fifty years, no ‘dark’ matter has however been found. On the contrary, irregularities among galaxies have been found that even dark matter cannot explain, such as: the Tully-Fisher relation between the brightness of a galaxy and the velocity of its outermost stars, and the strange gamma ray signals from the center of the milky way. In this paper the author demonstrates that, when 3-dimensional mass particles accelerate to a black hole, due to the Lorentz-Fitzgerald contraction, their length in their direction of motion is gradually contracted, until they reach the Schwarzschild radius where they obtain the speed of light and where they are compressed into 2-dimensional wave-particles. This means that they simply have become light particles, with no longitudinal mass but only transverse mass characteristics, such as variable velocity, linear momentum and gravitational interaction, in a plane perpendicular to their invariable speed, which explains the cylindrical photon ring gradually circulating into a black hole. This means that light is strong enough to survive the most extreme conditions in the universe, at the event horizon of a Black Hole, which is confirmed by the recent Chinese cosmic ray observatory ‘LHAASO’ that has demonstrated that ultra-high-energy photons can attain energies up to 1,4.109MeV, which is 140 times the energy that can be produced by the Large Hadron Collider! And it is also in line with the so-cold “gamma ray burst” that emit the same amount of energy as a supernova, but in seconds or minutes instead of weeks! This allows the author to demonstrate that the high velocities in the outer regions of spiral galaxy clusters, is not caused by some invisible ‘dark’ matter, but that it is caused by the transverse gravitational interaction of high energy photons, circulating those galaxy clusters. And it also explains the Tully-Fisher relation between the brightness of a galaxy and the velocity of its outermost stars. And this also explains the fireball of γ-rays that followed immediately after the detection of the gravity waves released by the merging of two neutron stars.

Maxwell's Equations:A Brief Exploration

Authors: Anamitra Palit

We perform a brief analysis of Maxwell’s equations in this writing to bring out a bewildering aspect that an infinitude of boundary conditions are possible for any given global source distribution of charges and currents. This concept is distinct from an infinitude of boundary conditions resulting from different source distributions. For a given source distribution inside a finite [or semi infinite] region an infinite number of boundary conditions might be possible for several distributions outside the enclosure. But for any global source distribution we do not expect an infinitude of boundary conditions. The analysis to follow lead us to certain contradictory features.

Electric Energy from Physical Vacuum Space

Authors: Kiyoung Kim

The law of conservation of energy, one of the first principles in physics, has been believed without a doubt; thus, it is natural that all scientific paradigms also have been built on the basis of the first principle. However, it is true that the first principle is based on empiricism, saying that any violation of energy conservation has not been observed or confirmed in objectivity. Meanwhile, there have been many pioneering researches for free electric energy generation challenging for the first principle although none of them has been acknowledged openly in public yet. However, in the new paradigm of physics including ontological reality in 4-D complex space, the free electric energy generation is explained how it is possible and why the conventional energy conservation law is not valid.

The Laws of Interaction of Currents and Charges and the Determination of Magnetic Field

Authors: Alexander N. Tarakanov

Different versions of the interaction of current elements and moving charges, written in vector form, starting from the Ampère theory, are considered. It is shown that from the point of view of the classical two-body problem the most adequate is the Gauss-Grassmann-Neumann theory. An expression is obtained for magnetic induction created by a moving current element, which, in addition to usual Biot-Savart-Laplace law, includes additional terms due to both the electron spin and the mutual displacement of elements

Законы взаимодействия токов и зарядов и определение магнитного поля

Authors: А. Н.

Current Changes the Direction of Photon Bending and Polarization

Authors: HuangWeiXiong

In 1919, British scientist Eddington found that the photon track is an arc. Two phenomena are found by studying the properties of photons. 1.In the case of unchanged emission, refraction and reflection conditions, the current can change the direction of photon bending. 2.In the case of unchanged emission, refraction and reflection conditions, the current can change the direction of photon polarization.

About Doppler Effect

Authors: Ilgaitis Prūsis, Peteris Prūsis

The generally accepted explanation of the Doppler effect is that in the case, when the source of waves is moving towards the observer, each successive wave crest is emitted from a position closer to the observer than the crest of the previous wave causing an increase in the frequency and, vice versa, when the source of waves is moving away from the observer, the arrival time between successive waves is increased reducing the frequency. This statement is incomplete. It cannot explain the fact of Doppler shift conservation in photons when stars having emitted them do not exist any more. The article shows the actual reason of the Doppler effect, i.e., the independency of emitted waves from their source and Energy conservation law.

Authors:

Authors: Thai-Thuong Triet

With the new concept of the radiations in the material space and basing on the Law of the radiations disposition and the Law of velocities relationship the theory of the interactive forces in the material space has been established. With only notion that, the unique difference between the material elements is their spin property, the theory has successfully solved the problems as the follows: -The nature of the interaction forces such as gravitation field strength, electric field strength, magnetic field strength, atomic nucleus force and the electromagnetic phenomena. -The cause of the structure of the atomic nucleus -The nature of the inertia of the mass. -Thermal phenomena. -The structure and the boundary of the universe.
