String theory is not a quantum theory. It’s a classical theory in which "discrete quantization" is supposed to emerge by analogy to the various discrete vibration frequencies of a taut wire in a piano or guitar. The problem is this is a circular argument: the wire is composed of particles. The whole thing is riddled with error. What they’re doing is not quantum field theory, but classical field theory fiddled to get quantization. But it doesn’t work. Then they block any other avenue using peer-review dogma. The mainstream theory is "standard" because it’s "peer-reviewed" (just groupthink dogma enforced), everything else is non-standard and thus dangerous, which must be suppressed. String theory is a classical continuum model with quantization applied to it. It does not derive quantum field theory from particles; it quantizes classical geometry and declares the result quantized. This paperreplaces that classical-continuum error with a fully mechanistic, non-speculative, empirically grounded quantum-gravity framework derived entirely from measured quantities. (This version 2.0 replaces some of the sociological analysis in version 1.0 with a patient refutation step-by-step of key string theory tactics. The original version 1.0 is much briefer at just 20 pages, and less technical, and goes more deeply into the political and financial motivations of string theory as a result of Parkinson's Law.
